This page serves as an archive for the short news items from the sidebar. Although I use them very sparingly, they eventually have to make way for newer entries. This way, I can save them for later analysis.

August 26, 2026

• I've finally updated the theme. It's now based on Quark 2, but as was the case with Quark before, there are a few customizations that I've implemented using a child theme. It seems that some bugs from Quark have been fixed in Quark 2, but new ones have been introduced—and I probably haven't found them all yet. So there will likely be a few more changes to the site's appearance over the next few days.

July 15, 2026

• The Most Frequent Tags list has not only been fixed (it previously displayed all tags), but has also been transformed into a tag cloud. Now, only the 30 most frequently used tags are displayed, with the font size reflecting their frequency, and the number of posts with that tag shown when you hover over it.

• The software that powers the website (GRAV) received a major update last night. For the first few days, there may be some irregularities in how blog posts are sorted.

• Today, the last post from the WordPress blog was moved here. This means the old blog can now be deleted, and new posts will only be published here going forward.
